Sarah Golda was born in Russia. She came to the U.S. in 1911 and was not a naturalized citizen. When Jacob died, she moved into an apartment on 1708 S. 6th Street and paid rent of $20.00 per month to Israel Zacharoff. She did live with her daughter Sonya Cutler and Max Paul in the 1920's or 30's. she was known as "Big bubba".
